Texas Discovery Garden
When you have a wedding at the Texas Discovery Gardens, you have found a real hidden gem, located in Fair Park, near downtown Dallas. Michelle and Matt choose this location, because of the lush gardens to showcase their ceremony. Here is a couple who really is in love with each other, respects each other, and honors each other. It was a joy to provide planning for this sweet couple, at a great location!

We Love Her Style!
We love Michelle’s style – elegant, romantic and classic – that is who this girl is. From her jewelry choice, to her garters, it was so fun! And we love when girls wear two garters, one to throw and one to keep. That’s a real southern tradition!

The First Look
The first look is such a special time for the couple. A time for just the two of them to see each other, before they walk down the aisle. So the groom can really see her close up, and the bride gets to surprise her groom! It’s a new tradition that we love!

The Bouquet
We love this picture of this bouquet. I think it’s the difference between the worn wood, against the softness of the flowers. Or perhaps having something so beautiful against something very plain. Whatever it is, it makes for a stunning picture!

Ceremony Location at Texas Discovery Gardens
This garden at Texas Discovery Gardens is so lush, and such a nice surprise in Dallas. Located behind the building, it has a small little white house, located in the back area. To me, this looks so much like Marie Antoinette’s little house located within Versailles. How fun!

The Reception
Michelle and Matt’s reception was everything they wanted. A fun cocktail hour, a dinner buffet by Wendy Krispin, and great dancing with Astounding Sounds – it was perfect! And top it off with a M&M bar (for Michelle and Matt). It was a perfect ending to a perfect day!

Gobo
Notice their gobo in the background: Michelle & Matthew – it was fab!

Bubble Exit
We think the best exit is with bubbles. Notice how sweet these bubbles are in the picture. They glisten, and just float around the couple. When you “shower” a couple at the end of the evening, this is symbolic of the couple having children within their marriage. So if you shower them with something that has “a lot of”, they should have many children!
