What could be more gorgeous than planning your fall wedding in a vineyard north of Dallas, where all the trees are bursting in the colors of bright yellow, orange and red? The DFW area has seen a color change for about 10 years now, and each year the colors seem brighter and more beautiful. Catherine knew this, and planned her wedding and colors around the peak time in the fall. Catherine’s style was classic and romantic, but more than anything, she wanted her family to surround her on her wedding day. Catherine has a lot of experience planning weddings, as she worked in the hospitality industry and graduated with a hotel and restaurant management degree. Needless to say, she enjoyed planning all the details for her wedding, along with her mother, Sandi. I was lucky enough to be included in her day, as I’ve known her family for years and years. So I and my lead planner came aboard as Day Of Coordinators to execute Catherine’s perfectly laid plans, and we were able to watch Catherine and Keith when they said “I Do” on November 19, 2016.
We love these personalized hangers, and know that Mrs. Catherine Miller will use hers for years to come!
The vineyard of Mitas Hill is the perfect place for photos, and it was wonderful that the leaves were still on the vines so late in the season. It made for gorgeous photos with some beautiful girls!
One gorgeous family on a very happy day!
We love a bride that can pop a champagne bottle and not break a nail!
The groom and his men also snapped pictures among the vines. The above picture shows the father of the bride with the groom, and his other future son-in-law.
Catherine chose the stunning flowers to blend with the fall colors of the vineyard! Could these flowers be any more beautiful? Flowers by Petals Couture
The photographer captured the look of the groom, just as he sees his bride for the very first time as she walks toward him. It’s a one-in-a-lifetime look, which every girl dreams of. A kiss and a dip!
Well, since the bride and the groom kissed, so did their parents, and we loved this!
Next, the father daughter dance, but Catherine had a surprise for everyone, which included her mother and sister. The bride and her father did a choreographed dance, and everyone was captivated! Catherine was a former professional dancer, but her father just recently retired from the Dallas police force, so it was fun to watch the two of them together. It was fantastic!
Catherine chose an ombre cake – the current trend for wedding cakes. And for her groom, a Texas cake with white chocolate dipped strawberries. Cakes by Sweet Art Bakery
Catherine and Keith ended the night with a sparkler heart among the vines. Is that not an amazing picture? Catherine married her prince, and Keith married her princess, and we believe that they will have happiness for years and years to come. We are so excited to see what their future brings!
