Wedding at the Four Seasons Las Colinas
Having a wedding at the Four Seasons Las Colinas is special for many reasons. First, the service is impeccable. Second, the venue is second to none. Third, you get to stay in the Byron Nelson Suite! And, if you find a magazine with a killer cover, you can pose like it, in your suite! What could be more fun? For this bride and her groom, Amanda and Tony were a joy to work with. Amanda is smart, pretty, and sweet…so, so sweet. And her groom is also smart, good looking and kind. What a wonderful weekend we had planning this amazing wedding with this fun couple!
First Look with the Father of the Bride
Having a first look with your dad is so special. He gets to see you for the first time, in your wedding gown. Chances are that your dad did not go to your fittings, so he really is seeing you just before he will walk you down the aisle. I can imagine all the dads remember raising their little girl, during all the years….the memories just come flooding back. It’s a sweet moment that is so fun to witness.
And then there is the first look with your groom. A time for just the two of you (my photographer will not allow anyone to watch – not mom, not dad, not the wedding party!) and it’s the time that your groom sees you for the first time. Its a sweet time, as you can really gaze into each others eyes as you spot your forever person for the first time on your wedding day.
Is there any place more beautiful in Dallas than the Four Seasons Las Colinas? The golf course, the pool, the grounds. They are incredible.
Amanda has incredible parents. They are so cool – I just love them! And they love their family, and had an absolute blast on their daughter’s wedding day!
The Pool at the Four Seasons Las Colinas
Have you ever seen a cooler wedding party picture? My photographer, Shauna Beniot-Wyatt with K&S Photography is the bomb. She has such a creative eye, and spotted the pool from the Byron Nelson suite, and asked the entire wedding party to go downstairs. She stood on the balcony of the suite, and took this amazing picture! No photographer has ever taken a shot like this before at the hotel, but my girl did! And she won an award for it!
Then, when you have hired the coolest photographer in Dallas, she can convince you to get atop the baby grand piano in the Byron Nelson suite, in your wedding dress, to take some phenomenal pictures of you and your groom!
Amanda’s father said he never saw his daughter look more happy, than when he walked her down the aisle. Aww….
They did it! They got married, and now the groom is stealing a kiss at the end of the aisle. Always a nice surprise for the guests!
We love a dress with a great swirl, and this dress did not disappoint.
Oh please, can you cut the cake already?
Again, this girl is the sweetest! And we love this picture of her – she truly is having the time of her life!
The Private Last Dance
Having some private time for just the bride and groom at the end of the reception is special. It’s time for just them, to take in the room, the night, the party – before they exit the reception. And we loved the lights that were strung in the Pavilion. It’s like dancing under a hundred little stars.
And, they’re off! Off to enjoy their new life together, and to take on the world.
